A live traffic camera on the US-101 in Studio City, playing itself as music in your browser. Every car that crosses the line is a note.

I do enjoy a generative music project. This one takes a a live camera feed from the 101 and for every vehicle that passes plays a musical note, up to five because it’s a five-lane highway.
You can change the instrument or combine multiple to create some really nice textures.
The only downside is that the camera feed sometimes bonks out so you’re left with silence which I guess isn’t always a bad thing.
